I spent three weeks this summer volunteering at Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses. Camp is an amazing place that allows kids to forget about doctors visits, siblings to receive equal attention, and parents to have a break from the stress of the rest of the year. My goal is to raise $500 to help send a family to camp.
