On January 1, 2010, I will be participating in Joey's Polar Plunge in Boston, MA, in support of one of my favorite places on earth.
As many of you know, I have been volunteering at Camp Sunshine in Casco, ME for almost 5 years. Camp Sunshine is a retreat for children with life threatening illnesses and their families, and it is a place that has become very special to me. The money raised for Joey's Polar Plunge will go to this amazing organization that has helped so many children and families during some of their toughest days. It will give more families the opportunity to experience the friendship, love and support that begins at Camp, but extends so far beyond Camp itself.
So I'm asking for your help. Please consider making a donation to me as I plunge into the Atlantic Ocean on New Year's Day in support of this cause. I am plunging to pay tribute to the incredible children and families that I have met through Camp Sunshine, and in honor and memory of far too many children that have already earned their angel wings. No donation is too small!! Thank you for your support!!!
