To Bangor Polar Plunge

The Bangor Polar Plunge will take place at Camp Capella on Phillips Lake, however, all parking for this event will be at The Lucerne Inn with shuttles to the plunge area.

From Interstate 95 North or South:

Take Exit 182-A (Bangor-Brewer Exit) onto Interstate 395 East. Take Exit 6 (Bar Harbor Exit) onto Route 1A East. Follow Route 1A approximately 7 miles into Dedham and The Lucerne Inn is located on the right side of the road.

To South Portland Polar Plunge

From Interstate 295 North:

Take the US-1 North Exit (Exit 4) toward Portland / Waterfront. Turn slight right onto US-1 North / Blue Star Memorial Highway. Turn right onto US-1A / W. Commercial Street. Turn left. Turn slight right onto ME-77 / Casco Bay Bridge. Continue to follow ME-77. Stay straight to go onto Broadway. Turn Right onto Preble Street. Turn Left onto Beach Street and end at Willard Beach.

From Interstate 295 South:

Merge onto US-1 South / ME-100 South / Blue Star Memorial Highway / Forest Avenue via Exit 6A. Turn right onto Park Avenue / US-1 / Blue Star Memorial Highway. Turn left onto State Street / ME-77 South. Continue to follow ME-77 South. Stay straight to go onto Broadway. Turn right onto Preble Street. Turn left onto Beach Street and end at Willard Beach.
