Bowdoin Plunge

Registration for the Polar Dip starts at 2:30 p.m. with the Plunge at 3:30 p.m.

Bowdoin Students can meet at the Polar Bear at 2:30 for transportation to the event.

There will be an after party at Frontier immediatly following the plunge. At the party, we will be showing the Plunge video and announcing the total funds raised for the event!

Camp Sunshine is pleased to present the 2010 Bowdoin Polar Dip. We believe that together we can send many more children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from Maine to our one-of-a-kind retreat in Casco.

With the strength of an event such as the Bowdoin Polar Dips and the resources of Camp Sunshine, it is our goal to raise in excess of $10,000 in 2010.

Since the start of Camp Sunshine in 1984, we have provided a haven for more than 32,000 family members from 47 states and 17 countries. Sadly, even with multiple sessions being added annually at Camp Sunshine, there are still many more children being newly diagnosed each year. Our program continues to be recommended by more than 100 treatment centers across the nation.
